Sally Cardwell introduced A Custom House in 2015, integrating 30 years of interior design expertise in both residential and commercial spaces. Sally’s artistry is demonstrated through project collaborations and client consultations where she diligently works to transform the ordinary into dream spaces using her keen eye for color, texture and patterns. Inspired by the classic and natural elements of beautiful textiles, Sally’s approach to her work is timeless and disciplined.

Julie Boxberger partnered with Sally in 2015 to create A Custom House, and she now contributes her creative entrepreneurial vision with design at the forefront. Making the decision to transition from a background in law to a retail venture stems from her lifelong interest in interior design and style. Having a meticulous eye for antiques, art and scale, Julie instills identity and texture within a select space all the while keeping function and restraint as essential ingredients.

Andy Cardwell oversees store operations, having worked in design since high school and has an undergraduate degree in corporate communications. Andy manages client interactions from start to finish, establishing seamless experiences and relationships. She is the heart and soul of the ACH experience and is known for her warm-hearted spirit. With guidance from her mother along with her natural affinity for fabrics and colors, Andy ensures the showroom looks and feels just like home.
